Physical Therapy Staff
Clinic Staff
Judy Rossi, PT In June 2006, I was proud to open Canton Institute for Physical Therapy, finally realizing my dream of clinic ownership. Previously, I had been the director of a successful clinic in Woodstock, Georgia. As a clinic owner, I have had the opportunity to treat my patients with the number one goal of offering quality, individualized care in a friendly, personalized environment. My hope is to be a facilitator in helping my patients achieve their maximum attainable function through the use of a personalized exercise program, hands on manual therapy and the use of various modalities to speed the healing process.
I graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1978 with a Bachelor's Degree in physical therapy. Through my 30 years of practice, I have furthered my education with innumerable continuing education classes primarily focused in the field of orthopaedics. Through the years, I have practiced in many settings including rehab centers treating stroke and brain injured patients. My first passion however, is the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
When away from the clinic, my hobbies include trying to keep up with my three young adult sons Kyle, Tyler and Jordan as well as my three stepsons Nick, Frank and Dominic and even more importantly my grandson Trevor. My hobbies include running and lifting weights, reading murder mysteries, trying to learn the piano and dancing with my husband Matt.

What Our Patients Have To Say . . .
On The Clinic
I was treated with honest concern and treatment to heal me to the best condition in the fastest amount of time. This clinic is such a breath of fresh air and exceeded my expectations – Jay J.
On Judy Rossi, Owner
The entire staff is wonderful. Judy is beyond wonderful, she’s perfect! Now that my therapy is over, I actually miss going! – Mary D.
I have sought Judy's care for many years. When I came to her new facility, I was impressed with her services (as usual), but her whole staff had her same attitude. The new clinic is very impressive. - Cynthia M.
I feel that Judy has a great relationship with her patients. She is very thorough in collecting information in order to give the best therapy and heal you as quick as possible. She makes sure that all of YOUR questions and concerns are answered as well. I would highly recommend her services and CIPT to everyone and all doctors that request physical therapy. - Debbie S.
Had a hip replacement 2 years ago and went to another clinic for therapy. It took forever to start feeling better at this other place!! I had a hip replacement 8 weeks and came to CIPT for therapy and this hip already feels better than the one that I had rehabbed 2 years ago. The team at CIPT work together to get you better in the quickest amount of time possible. CIPT IS A GREAT PLACE FOR THERAPY! - Athena M.
Do I have surgery…do I not have surgery…do I have surgery…do I not have surgery!?!? This was the question that was plaguing my mind everyday for a year. CIPT was my last ditch effort to try and avoid surgery on my back! Well, I am happy to say I have not had back surgery and it has been 2.5 years since I first came to CIPT. Thank you CIPT for helping me to avoid surgery and missing 12 weeks of work which would have put my family in a financial crunch. I can honestly say I have never missed a day of work because of I my since seeing Judy at CIPT. - Paul R
All I can say is I was able to play in my last high school football game when no one thought it was going to be possible! - Brad Y.
Trying to keep up with my 4 kids under 5 years old is a challenge by itself, much less when you have a torn ACL. I was back to the old routine within a few weeks of starting rehab. It was a great recovery, but I really enjoyed being waited on hand and foot by my husband and kids while I was recovering, so I was a little disappointed I was back to "work" so soon! Just kidding! Thanks CIPT! - Stacey S.
On The Office Staff
Great group of people. I hope I never need a physical therapist again; but if I do I’m going back to Judy and her staff. – Marc C.
The entire staff is wonderful. Judy is beyond wonderful, she’s perfect! Now that my therapy is over, I actually miss going! - Marilyn R.
Through physical therapy, I have not only felt better, but I have learned how to strengthen my whole body. I am very pleased with the results. You all have been a great help. - Billy N.
Excellent! I would highly recommend Canton Institute for Physical Therapy. – Jacqueline C.
Outstanding Crew! Best I have ever been involved with. – Sammy C.
I would recommend CIPT to all my friends and family. I would not go anywhere else. - Judith S.
I originally came to CIPT as a result of a car accident; I was so pleased with the results on my neck and shoulder I decided to continue for my degenerative disc disease (my back). While previous therapy advanced me to the point where I could dress myself in the mornings, I was still unable to do many of my favorite activities: working in my yard, walking my dogs, and cleaning my house.
I began P.T. for my back in April and have been coming 1/week since that time. In addition to tradition exercises and manual therapy, I was put in traction and slowly built up strength to be on the MedX machine. By the end of June, my back was so much better that I could spend 10-12 hours per day painting our new vacation home. I have spent hours weeding WITHOUT any back spasms. This week, I finished laying rocks to complete the edge of my garden. I am grateful to have my life back. "Thank you" doesn't seem to be adequate, but I do thank you very much. - Jan L.
I had Judy as a physical therapist in 2000 and I sought her out in 2006. Once again, I have been impressed with my results and progression. The clinic goes above and beyond! Thanks CIPT. - Anonymous
